When Lucy first came to The Gorge she was in fashion design, working with many high profile sportswear companies. Her specialty was color combinations and color forecasting. Then one day someone asked Lucy to place a flower on a cake – and she was hooked. With that began a passion for understanding floral arrangements and she translated her design expertise into not just color but texture, size, and scale.
Then an opportunity came about to design at the famous Columbia Gorge Hotel and in the two decades after she was the exclusive floral designer for Cherry Hills Farms. Lucy now designs flowers for every scale of wedding and event, showcasing locally sourced flowers and products for both events and in store.
Lucy and her family have called Hood River home for over 30 years and she has owned her lovely flower shop in down town Hood River since 2005. She and her family have a deep love for the outdoors and are thankful to be a part of this vibrant local community that has enriched their lives.
